Traveler of the Month - April 2011

Emma P. brings over 26 years of experience to her position as a physical therapist assistant. Her primary duties are to follow the physical therapist plan of care and to help patients progress toward their goals.

One encounter that Emma will not soon forget is when she worked with a 16-year-old girl who had been in a motorcycle accident. After intensive therapy, the girl was able to return home and drive an adaptive wheelchair van. The patient was also able to transfer in and out of bed and dress herself.

When it comes to working for 360 Healthcare Staffing, Emma is appreciative of the culture of learning. “I like taking continuing education classes as well as consulting with therapists within the company for advice on treatment protocol,” she says. “I enjoy the ability to meet new therapists and patients and learn lessons from each of them to carry with me to my next assignment.”

Emma is particularly fond of the flexibility and freshness of traveling. “I enjoy the ability to go to any type of setting, in any state in the USA.”
