Traveler of the Month 

Lindsey is a traveling PTA in the state of Florida, a perfect fit for the sunny personality she brings on assignments.

“It’s so rewarding to see patients change their attitude and get a more positive outlook as I work with them,” she said. “A lot of times, they’ll have their mind made up that they won’t like therapy and they end up loving it.”

Lindsey recalls one patient in particular—a 71-year-old woman with bilateral amputations, arriving after her second surgery.

“At first she was discouraged because it was hard for her to get up, but she learned endurance and strength and her outlook became more optimistic,” Lindsey said. “I was her main therapist and it was wonderful to work with the prosthetist, get her fitted with new legs, and see the joy it brought her and her family when she walked down the hall.”

This Michigan native has been practicing since 2005 and has been with 360 since 2011. She first started travelling to see more of Florida and decide where to live. She soon realized there were other reasons to enjoy the work.

“You gain knowledge from each place and it’s helped me become a stronger therapist,” she said. “I have the experience under my belt of working at different kinds of facilities and with lots of different faces. I feel like I can jump into an environment and be productive the first day.”

Lindsey said she trusts 360 because of the honesty and integrity of the recruiters and because of the personalized approach she receives.

“I really like my recruiter—she’s wonderful. I know she’d do anything for me for my best interest,” she said. “The customer service and communication are great and to now they’ve got my back is really nice.”
