There are many things Sherry J. enjoys about being a 360 Healthcare Staffing physical therapist assistant. Her favorite thing, though, is the opportunity to work with so many different types of patients. Sherry has been with 360 Healthcare for more than a year, and in that time she has helped patients achieve some pretty outstanding milestones. Working with one patient in particular proved especially rewarding for Sherry – an individual who had been in a coma for six months. By working with Sherry and the therapy team, the patient improved from non-transferring and confined to a wheelchair to being able to perform activities of daily living and walk on crutches - in just four months!

In her 28-year career, Sherry has found that understanding the patient’s priorities is critical to rehab success. “If I’m to help patients achieve their goals, I must understand from the beginning what they are,” says Sherry. “I also believe that communication and working as a team with my fellow therapists is a must in helping patients.”
